Process

Design house Spectrum West is committed to creating high quality acrylic furniture designs that are functional, artistic, modern, strong, fluid and beautiful. To ensure sustainability, a majority of the designs are fabricated from a single sheet of acrylic and are run through a laser cutter to prevent mistakes in proportions. Each design is sanded, buffed and polished by hand to ensure lasting quality.

Since 1983, Spectrum Limited has perfected the process of manufacturing luxurious acrylic furniture. Each design is crafted and sculpted by hand. All of the cutting, sculpting, buffing, and polishing is done with meticulous attention to detail. The remaining scrap acrylic sheets are further re-used for future projects or returned to plastic manufacturers for recycling.
